Derek Rasmussen has a Metallurgical / Powder Metal Technology Degree from Hennepin Technical College in Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Minnesota.

Derek has over 15 years experience in Powder Metal Technology, including Tool Design, Process Engineering, Management and Sales positions.  In addition, Derek has an extensive experience with overseas and North American markets.  He is a current and active member of the APMI and has been throughout his entire career.  

Derek’s point of focus will be on marketing FloMet’s superior Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology, while providing exceptional expertise with operational and engineering requirements to new and current customers. 

Derek is welcomed as a strong and powerful asset to FloMet and the Sales Team, assisting Flomet as it continues to solidify its preeminent position in the Metal Injection Molding industry.
