FloMet adds new capabilities

Contract manufacturer Flomet LLC, DeLand, Fla., (www.flomet.com), has expanded its services by adding overmolding, laser welding, laser marking, pad printing, and mechanical assembly. The company was founded on its powder-metal blending skills and metal injection technology. “Over the years, we found that parts made here were sent elsewhere for further assembly,” says FloMet Marketing Manager Dan Tasseff.

“The new services cut costs and free clients from outsourcing to possibly several different suppliers,” he says. Services not provided by Flomet can still be subcontracted out, add value, and lower costs because Tasseff's team coordinates the outsourcing and manages the suppliers.
